The overpass in Békéscsaba on street Orosházi is officially completed. On the 2 × 2 lane bridge drivers can dynamically pass thanks to the separated pedestrian and cyclist path. The overpass is the first cable-stayed bridge in Bekes County.

The new overpass in Békéscsaba on street Orosházi was opened for public. Following the formerly made load test in June the travelers could occupy the new bridge. The finishing works are still in progress, the final given for public is expected to be in the end of Summer.

On the 17th of May 2015 the Bridgebuilders Day was held for the third time. This time the location of teh event was the quay in front of the Technical University of Budapest. Even extraordinary bridge building competition was held. The teams had to build a bridge from pallets with the opening of 5432,1 mm. Our co-worker Mihály Szabados was the member of the designers’ team.

We made the load test of Overpass over Square Nyugati on the 12-th of April with the help of the Technical University of Budapest. Two 24t trucks were used to examine the behavior of the structure.

A new cable-stayed pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Neckar River at Hassmersheim (Germany) is completed. It has a span 146.32 + 42.64 + 33.24 m. The bridge was built with varying elliptical cross-sectioned pier and self-weight bearing then subsequently concrete filled (CFT) stiffening girder. The final construction drawings were made by Specialterv Kft.

New bridges are built on the Road 21. The B165 composit bridge’s steel structure was placed. The steel girders are clamped rigidly into the abutment, the concrete slab above it will bridge close to 50 m spam with only 1,35 m structural height in the middle field. This bridge type provides an economic opportunity for structures leaving the middle support made over the motorways.

The final element of the pedestrian and bicycle bridge’s steel structure at Baja over the Türr canal was placed.
The bridge Petofi Island and Grand Island Pandúr connects. Various design phases, we have dealt with different versions of this bridge for nearly twenty years now which has reached the other side. Handover is expected in December.

In framework of Gyor-Sopron-Ebenfurt Railway the pedestrian overpass at Körmend was completed. The pedestrian overpass links the two parts of the city – from Kossuth street over the tracks – and provides possibility to reach the railway platforms and in the meantime relocated bus station. The unique structure of the girder steel bridge stiffened with tubular arc contains several new structural details which in Hungary has not yet been applied.

The 2x2 lane Highway M31 was opened for public on Monday. The new highway connects the north-eastern part of the M0 circumferential highway with the Highway M3 at Gödöllő. 85% of the project M31 – which cost 25 billion forint - was sponsored by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
Two new bridges on the new highway and three bridge-widenings at the connection with the Highway M3 were designed by our company.

The formerly one-lane bridge’s substructures were strenghtened, the new steel structure - which was consructed on land - was floated at fall last year.
